Astro Ani is a Buddhist Nun. She is a New Zealand-Australian (whoever heard of such a thing) learning to live in the USA. Her blog is part experiential, part social commentary, part travel-logue and occasionally humorous. She uses photographs and a few words to convey most of her experiences and keep her family and a few friends mildly entertained.

Snow Snippets!
Most Aussies (that are secretly New Zealanders from the North Island) rarely see snow! That's me. So when it started snowing yesterday it seemed like magic from the sky. I know (sigh) it's not. It's simply water in another form. But what the heck! Better than the Dandenongs! Or Mt Donna Buang . No offence given or taken. Just the white powdery moments of enjoyment wherever one is. The ice and chilling winds come later. Here are two video snippets - one from my bedroom window and one from Ani Dara's kitchen. Just so you can get a feeeeeeeeeel. With free voice over from the snow whisperer-not.
